Love, light, and single eye seeing

07012015_JOHN3-17-21Word today: John 3:17-21 (Link’s to me reading this post)

This is how the judgement works: the light has come into the world, BUT, people love the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds are evil (not seeing with single eye, seeing double)…

We love to come to the light, we Love Light

“But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be CLEARLY SEEN that his WORKS have been carried out IN GOD.” – John 3:21 (ESV)

“But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his DEEDS may be MANIFESTED as having been WROUGHT in God.”John 3:21 (NASB)

So, this is the way of truth, we LOVE to come into the LIGHT, into transparency, being and living transparently, (and being shrewd, where we are instructed, as not to throw pearls before swine) so all we do can be seen, and judged that what we do is wrought (comes from) in God.

“The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.” Luke 11:34 KJV

Also, notice how in KJV, thine eye is evil.. evil means seeing double, double as in remaining to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, not eating from the tree of life (SINGLE EYE)

Our dear friend, Fred Pruitt, explains, and expands more fully and more concisely. For greater understanding of Single eye, go here.
