Blessed is the man that

  • walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor
  • standeth in the way of sinners, nor
  • sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

I remember going to my first prayer meeting in December 2005?? and being surprised that while praying, almost everyone was SITTING.

I accepted it, however, the Lord spoke to me again, later in the meeting because He had me ask one of the organizers why this was, when Psalm 1 suggests that this was progression of slothfulness.

He said ‘God looks at the heart‘, not the posture.

At the time, I ignored his comment, however, over the years I remained vigilant and continued to notice almost every time a posture was mentioned by someone claiming to speak on God’s behalf, or if the congregation was invited to sing, why when everyone sang “God come down” or “I bow my head” or “We kneel down” was NO ONE PERFORMING THE POSTURE THEY CLAIMED WHILE SINGING.

For all of my life I’ve been bothered by INCONGRUITY, mostly by leaders in the workplace who didn’t ‘walk-the-talk’. They said one thing, but did something else themselves. This BEHAVIOR
