Wave the old world goodbye

After pulling an all-nighter, in the early hours of Thursday I watched Sky News all day news story of day the crisis facing the British National Health Service (NHS).

After an hour or so, all I really heard was:

Give us more money so we can continue to serve an every increasing number of people flooding into our services

Next I heard the Lord say to me:

When My kingdom comes on earth, as it is in heaven, sickness will be no more

and I thought I wondered how many sick people could be healed on earth IF His disciples were obedient to his command, and lay hands on the sick and they shall be healed:

Millions

So if God’s kingdom was operating on earth now as a majority not a minority, healthcare globally would not be almost total dependent on money and smart drugs, but God’s promise of His Holy Spirit, still active in the world would be restoring the sick globally as He planned.

I’m praying that the world may soon see the light

And, if we were obedient as born-again disciples, to love our neighbor as ourselves, we would happily give freely of ‘our’ homes and resources to help our neighbors, not hoard resource while our neighbors starve, shiver, or suffer and those who need longer term care would be cared for in community.

God’s plan A was a brand new race of people.

Yes you heard me, a new race of people.

His Son Jesus was the template.

If we are born again, we are being cloned, as He is so are we in this world, or should I say we are clones, and God is waiting, oh so patiently, for 100% access to ALL of me/us so He can get His work done through us to benefit our neighbors next door or across the world.

So I see through to His plan, dimly as Paul said, and I’m smiling inside as I see through to God’s plan being worked.

The NHS healthcare crisis though tragic in human terms, is a symptom of men’s short term thinking.

Those who designed the NHS (and other healthcare cares systems around the world) didn’t begin with the end in mind, and probably never even saw God’s plan A as an option at all.

Wave the old world goodbye by Mick Hucknall (Simply Red)

Wave the Old World goodbye
It’s time to say hello to the New World
Praying it will be right
That the world may soon see the light
I’ll be waving, oh waving
And I’ll be waiting

Sure the old folks have tried
But now it’s time for us in the New World
Pray that it will be right
That the earth don’t turn out the lights

Wave the Old World goodbye
It’s time to say ‘goodnight’ to the Old World
Let’s pray that it will be right
So the world will soon see the light

I’ll be waving, oh waving
And I’ll be waiting, oh waiting this night

It’s time to say ‘goodnight’ to the Old World
It’s time to say ‘hello’ to the New World
And wave the Old World goodbye

I’ll be waving, oh waving
And I’ll be waiting, oh waiting this night

It’s time to say ‘goodnight’ to the Old World
Time to say to say ‘hello’ to the New World
And wave the Old World goodbye, tonight
