Every Man Perfect in Christ Jesus

“Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.” (Col 1:27-29).
Each of us manifests or expresses Christ uniquely and afresh in our generations. What that means is that the Christ of D.L. Moody, or Jacob Boehme, Billy Graham, Norman Grubb or even the Apostle Paul, is, in a sense, not “my” Christ. I don’t mean to say it was a different Jesus or a different gospel.
