Be yourself, trust…
the anointing within you to teach and guide you in all thingd (1 John 2:27)
Pray for Open Doors
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message. …(Colossians 4:2–3a)
Pray for Boldness
Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel. … (Ephesians 6:19)
Pray that God’s Word will be Multiplied
Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we ask you to pray for us. Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you (2 Thessalonians 3:1)
Pray for Effectiveness
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing (John 15:5)
Pray for Knowledge and Wisdom
9 Now, LORD God, let your promise to my father David be confirmed, for you have made me king over a people who are as numerous as the dust of the earth. 10 Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people, for who is able to govern this great people of yours?’ 11 God said to Solomon, ‘Since this is your heart’s desire and you have not asked for wealth, possessions or honour, nor for the death of your enemies, and since you have not asked for a long life but for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people over whom I have made you king, 12 therefore wisdom and knowledge will be given you. And I will also give you wealth, possessions and honour, such as no king who was before you ever had and none after you will have.’ (2 Chron. 1:9-12 NIVUK)
In 2013 the Lord made it clear to me that I should leave my job, trusting the Lord for daily needs, to give myself full-time to laying hold of what had taken a hold of me, to walk as the Apostles in Acts walked, in the list of the truth that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow (Heb 13:8) and His commands are for all believers, not just some special group, and to remind saints everywhere that Christ formed in us (Gal 4:19), so that Christ is manifested in the world in us “as” us (Col 1:27).
As part of living this new life and following Jesus commands in Luke 10, many people want to get started in healing the sick, baptism in water and the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues, casting our demons and preaching the gospel so I often get invites to visit people either one-on-one or in small groups, in homes, or in communities and churches across the midwest and further afield around the USA and recently in Japan. Update December 28th, 2018 – Akiko and her partner Hiro are prayerfully waiting to start their house church!
I trust the Lord to supply the necessary funds to live daily, for the vehicles, equipment and supplies we need for the work, as well as funds to travel to any place He sends us.
